Ferrari Mondial 8 engine type F106B with gearbox and clutch

Specifications: V8 DOHC engine of type F106B, 2 valve / cylinder, 8V location 90° with capacity 2926 cc. Maximum output of 240 bhp (160 kW) at 7200 rpm. A very reliable engine that had approximately 26,420 miles when removed from the car, a RHD Mondial 8 of 1980. Many pictures available of the original car and engine.

History: the donor car saw its engine with transmission removed in 2011 when the previous owner removed it to use in a Mondial QV. In 2011, the engine was partially rebuilt: the cylinder heads were overhauled, new belts, liquids and the entire engine and gearbox were cleaned and covers were sprayed. The odometer of the car is still available.

In March 2017, the cylinder heads were rebuilt a second time because the valves and valve seats had to be replaced, done by a specialist in Italy. Many pictures available.

A lot of money went into this engine to have it fully working ! Full history available including hundreds of pictures.

Condition: The engine and gearbox are fully working and in excellent condition, engine works fine and has been tested. Ready to be built in !!!

INCLUDED the engine and gearbox including sensors and cables. EXCLUDED: the cooling liquid reservoir, subframe and Magnetti Marelli consoles.

	Part nr 60952800 Front bonnet with grill, catch, hinges and pin Lid in original bianco color, includes the grill (part 60559600), catch (part 60536900), hinges (60918700) and pin. A complete hood! 1 small dent at the top of the hood near the area for the Ferrari shield. Overall in very good condition. 	Part nr 61273700 R.H. door with part nr 60552700 glass and part nr 60551900 lower crosspiece right Right hand door with window and lower crosspiece assembly to lift the window. Door is rusty at the bottom and needs repair and repaint. Included: the black moldings around the window. 	Engine front top covering This is the piece of insulation material that is attached to the chassis facing the top cylinder bank. Also fits the Mondial QV, T and 3.2 Available in the webshop Detailed picture here		Part nr 60637500 R.H. glass and 60637600 L.H. glass blue colored This is a pair of windows next to the rear seats. Glasses are in very good condition with the correct Ferrari labels on them. 	Front Bumper M8/QV Part nr 60571000 This bumper has been sanded and totally repainted + the metalwork at the back has been coated with zinc against oxydation. In really wonderful shape, ready to be installed! Better than new. 	Engine Support Silentbloc 308/328/M Part nr 106418 Check for options and availability in the webshop Detailed pictures here and here		Part nr 61899800 Trunk bonnet in primer paint This trunk lid is protected by a primer paint coating, the lid is in excellent condition, ready to be painted in the correct color. The bottom side is in black. Contains wires for lights. The catch is not included, but we have some in stock. This lid fits all Mondial types. 	Part nr 60695000 Thermic rear window Fits the entire Mondial range. It is in extremely good condition, a very rare find ! It has been protected against delamination from the beginning and only shows very very minimal signs of age. 	Part nr 60601000 Front left covering The cover has been repaired: sandblasted and rust was removed. After that, it has been repainted in primer paint. Item is in new condition.This part also fits the Mondial QV, it is an authentic one and extremely difficult to find !!! 	Support for Plate Light M Part nr 60846500 These have been reproduced with injected plastic moulding and match the originals for 100%. Very hard plastic, much better than the originals! 	Headlamp Housing M Part nr 60985700 RH and 60985600 LH Housing for pop-up lights, we have several RH and LH units in stock. Most of them have some light surface rust , some scuffs and small dents, so they all need some minor work as they have been used before. None of these blocks need serious metalwork, a sanding and paint job is required. 	Roof Support M Part nr 62374900 LH and 60512700 RH A triangular roof support frame that fits all Mondial models. It has been cut off from a 1993 Mondial 3.4t Valeo and shows no issues: no corrosion: no dents. There are some small imperfections encircled in black, but the roof is in overall very good structure and totally free of rust. Of course, the panel requires some preparation work before repaint. 	Complete Windshield Moulding M Part nr 60998800 This is a complete set of windshield mouldings, including both small overlapping sections in the middle. These have to be sanded and repainted to be perfect. The structure is in excellent shape. 	Part nr 60699300 R.H Air intake In good condition. Only fits the Mondial 8 because of the single tunnel leading air to the engine block. 	BOSCH K-Jetronic Fuel Injection System This K-Jetronic comes from a 70.000km 308 GTSi and is in good shape! All bolts included. Type 0438120126. 	Metering Device BOSCH K-Jetronic Part nr 115329 This is a new top for the K-Jetronic fuel distributor, never used before. BOSCH type 0 438 120 126. Fits many Ferrari types of the 80's. 	Part nr 116488 hub for upper shaft and part nr 116533 upper steering shaft In very nice condition: upper shaft for steering column including the hub and the anti-theft device WITH KEY. It comes with both supports (we have many available) and ball joints on both sides. The renewables may have to be changed. Other than that, the unit appears to be in good condition. 	Rod Link Part nr 114691 This is a link in perfect shape. Used, but very clean with the bolts and rubber grommets with bushes included. Fits many models. 	Handbrake Support Assembly Part nr 106415 This is a complete rear handbrake lever assembly that fits below the engine on a 308GT4, 308, Mondial QV and Mondial 8 model. 	CV Joint Bearing for Axle Part nr 103885 Although this bearing doesn't have its own part number according to the diagrams, we do sell these separately. These are new. 	Part nr 60593300 Center tunnel console with ashtray The console, covered by black leather is in great condition. Some minor scuffs at the back, but it has been treated well with leather conditioner and looks very good. The top ashtray is included, but no lighter. Part nr 118147 Tyre rim, 180 TR 390

We have a set of 5 wheels for Michelin TRX tyres, authentic rims that fit the Mondial 8 and QV's. These have been powder coated with the exact color and correct finish! These are looking very beautiful! They date back to 1981.

Exhaust

Exhaust Muffler M8 Part nr 113251

This authentic muffler is in used condition, but can still serve many kilometers. The triangles at the end of the pipes (where these are attached to the manifolds) have suffered over time and you should weld 2 new triangles.
